I live in the Columbus area and I do a lot of smallmouth fishing on Flatrock River. I look forward to being a part of your organization.

Welcome aboard Jhayes. Our annual Smallmouth Stravaganza is this Saturday in Zionsville, if it doesn't get you ready and rearing to go nothing will.

Hey everyone,

My name is Ted, from Arizona. Found your site by looking at my awstats for my site and up came this (I won't pimp mine out here). Very happy I found it! Here in AZ we've got limited smallmouth fishing, but we do have some good rivers and a couple lakes that are great. Headed to Denver to go to law school in the fall, environmental and natural resource law most likely. Anyways, just thought I'd say hello and let you know I'll be here looking for ways to incorporate your ideas for smallmouth conservation wherever I am currently living.

Look forward to being a part of this site.

intro...

Postby bryantics on Mon Mar 15, 2010 1:38 pm

im new. closest fishing access is the white river(perkinsville/lafayette trace.) wading for the most part but borrow a little 8ft john from time to time. got morse reservoir a little on down the road but confined to shorelining. brought up on crappie and catfish til one day i threw out a 98 cent shockwave spinner and got it blasted by a 2lb bucket. still preferred wading so i started experimenting below the reservoir in the creek bed and on the white. didnt know what i was in for. wouldnt change it if i could. now im not saying im a white river guru so any tips would be appreciated. all i can say is that wading up to a blow down to get a senko or topwater hammered on by a 3lb smallie that almost ends up jumping in your waders is the best self-medicating ive ever done.
