The advertising for Inception presents the film as a dream-based heist thriller, which is true enough in a larger sense Movie Factotum. But the heart of the movie is psychoanalysis presented as kick ass action Movie Factotum. Nolan's interest in dreams doesn't come from the surreal nature of them (in fact very early on Nolan, who wrote the script, presents an in-universe rule that makes the dreams be as realistic as possible) but from what they say about the dreamer Movie Factotum. Nolan is looking at dreams as the entryway to the subconscious. They're the gate through which a repressed, emotionally distanced person can access the feelings that trouble them deep inside. Some flashbacks try to enhance the characters and build their relationships, but they feel like too little, too late. Of course, it's possible to make a great movie out of a total cipher of a character, but Salt seems to have gone halfway toward building a character and stopped dead Movie Factotum. Jolie stars as CIA Agent Evelyn Salt, a tough as nails professional who we meet as she's being held and tortured in North Korea. But no matter what they do to her, she doesn't break Movie Factotum. Salt won't admit she's a spy and it looks like she's in for a long stint in a tiny cell Movie Factotum. However, her CIA superior, Ted Winter (Liev Schreiber), unexpectedly shows up for a prisoner exchange Movie Factotum. Salt, knowing this goes against every rule the US government's set up regarding spies, is initially shocked and then emotionally overwhelmed when Winter tells her the exchange was instigated by her husband, Mike (August Diehl), an expert on spiders (his profession plays into the plot, but I'm not disclosing how) Movie Factotum. He hounded everyone he could think of until they finally agreed to do something to bring her home Movie Factotum. She's grateful and touched, and less like a hard-nosed agent at that point in time than at any other in the film Movie Factotum. As far as the supporting cast goes, don't expect too much. Jolie's the whole show, and other than Liev Schreiber, as her mentor/nemesis, nobody else in the film gets to do much Movie Factotum. Third billed Chiwetel Ejiofor, who I've always thought is a great actor poised to break into the big time, more or less phones it in as the agent charged with capturing SALT Movie Factotum. Oddly, he almost completely disappears from the third act of the film, which makes me think this might have been tinkered with in the editing room (Stuart Baird, who supposedly heavily doctored the first TOMB RAIDER, is one of two credited editors) Movie Factotum. I also hated the fact that Andre Braugher, a superb character actor, is more or less treated as an extra in this film, while the stiff, no-name actor playing the president, gets to be front and centre throughout Movie Factotum. Perhaps they could have swapped roles? When last we saw Alice at the end of "Resident Evil: Extinction," she had discovered all of the clones that had been made of her and was planning to assault the Japanese headquarters of the Umbrella Corporation Movie Factotum. The people she had helped were making their way to what they believed was salvation for Arcadia.
